The Circle of SistAhood is dedicated to empowering teenage girls ages 12–17 to break barriers, cultivate safe spaces for growth, and envision positive change. Through mentorship, family engagement, skill-building, and community education, we provide accessible resources that promote financial literacy, mental health awareness, peer connection, and civic engagement in fostering resilient, confident young women and stronger communities.
The Circle of SistAhood is a nonprofit youth mentorship program committed to fostering personal and social growth in young people. Our purpose is to promote prosocial activities, build self-esteem, and teach principles that support mental, emotional, and financial development, leadership, and social skills—while breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. We advocate for a community culture that heals minds, restores souls, and empowers the next generation to thrive.
The Circle of SistAhood's vision stemmed from the lack of many unavailable resources for teen girl's mentorship. Mental health is growing and many teens are left in the dark on how to navigate through life. This program is design to not only help teens overcome life stressors, but to help their families as well.

The Circle of SistAhood is looking to grow within the Southern Sector of the DFW, primarily in the Ellis County area. With your generous thoughts and donations, you will assist the organization with the current challenges to include lack of funding for projects, future teen events such as conferences, summer programming, and college tours. The funding will also assist with funding for building needs to hold bimonthly meetings, supplies, community outreach projects and assistance with funding our parenting program to increase family stability. Our focus is to mitigate the personal and development challenges teen girls face while supporting their major needs and increasing families’ strengths. With our organization recently starting, our current request to assist with the needs of supplies, food, financial education, and projects for health and wellness.
We appreciate your time, efforts and generosity!!

Adolescence is a unique and formative time. Physical, emotional and social changes, including exposure to poverty, abuse, or violence, can make adolescents vulnerable to mental health problems. Protecting adolescents from adversity, promoting socio-emotional learning and psychological well-being, and ensuring access to mental health care are critical for their health and well-being during adolescence and adulthood.
Adolescents with mental health conditions are particularly vulnerable to social exclusion, discrimination, stigma (affecting readiness to seek help), educational difficulties, risk-taking behaviours, physical ill-health and human rights violations.
